Still Alive
OMFG. We have been so embroiled in family fun that I have not had any chance to update this blog. Here I've been encouraging friends, family, and even strangers to check out my chronicle of our journey, and I haven't written one thing since we left! Even now, I type frantically and furtively, apprehensive that I will be caught. LOL.
But let's not digress. I only have until naptime is over to try to get caught up in an amusing and informative manner.
When the big Friday rolled around, BOOM. Thunderstorm! Power outage! For 24 hours, our power was out. No packing. No organizing. No selling. AAAAAAHHHH! Since our sale was cut short, we panicked, and by Saturday evening we left the house with a "FREE" sign hanging outside the garage. Of course, almost everything was gone within a few hours. People won't pay 25 cents for a Scarface DVD but if it's free? Whooo! I'll take it!
We rolled out Sunday and breathed a sigh of relief. Until we got moving.

The last Friday and Saturday before our Sunday departure, we planned to have a garage sale for everything we had left from the eBaypalooza. We actually set up earlier than that, and met some wonderful people who stopped by to relieve us of extraneous belongings.
